A quantitative faecal immunochemical test (FIT) is a screening test for colon cancer that measures the amount of blood in the stool.

Blood in the stool can be an early sign of cancer or other bowel diseases

FIT only detects human blood from the lower intestines and is not affected by medicines or food.

Please post self-collected samples on the same day they are taken, avoid posting over weekends and bank holidays.
